Menu

Here at Links Nursery we provide healthy balanced meals and snacks for our children in accordance with best practice nutritional guidelines. Meals are sourced from our local supplier, Entier, and snacks are prepared in our onsite kitchen facilities by our own nursery housekeeper. Here is an example of a typical weekly menu:

Monday

Morning Snack

Cracker bread with cheese spread and a selection of salad (allergens: milk, wheat/barley/rye)

Lunch

Fish cakes, baby potatoes, garden peas (allergens: fish, gluten)

Vegetarian option

Vegetable cakes, baby potatoes, garden peas (allergens: gluten, sulphur dioxide)

Afternoon snack

Crumpets with spread and a selection of fruit (allergens: wheat/barley/rye)

 

Tuesday

Morning snack

Scrambled egg with wholemeal toast (allergens: eggs, milk, wheat/barley/rye, soya)

Lunch

Vegetable soup and sandwiches (allergens: celery, sulphur dioxide. Sandwiches - gluten, milk, fish, eggs)

Vegetarian option

As main

Afternoon snack

Jelly and a selection of fruit (allergens: none)

 

Wednesday

Morning snack

One whole bagel with spread, and a selection of salad (allergens : wheat/barley/rye)

Lunch

Beef chilli, rice and sweetcorn (allergens: celery)

Vegetarian option

Vegetable chilli, rice and sweetcorn (allergens: celery, sulphur dioxide)

Afternoon snack

One whole muffin with a selection of fruit (allergens: wheat/barley/rye)

 

Thursday

Morning snack

Weetabix and a selection of fruit (allergens: wheat/barley/rye)

Lunch

Chicken & broccoli wholemeal pasta bake (allergens: gluten)

Vegetarian option

Broccoli wholemeal pasta bake (allergens: gluten)

Afternoon snack

Banana Loaf and a selection of fruit (allergens: wheat/barley/rye, soya)

 

Friday

Morning snack

Four mini breadsticks, houmous dip and a selection of salad (allergens: wheat/barley/rye, sesame seeds)

Lunch

Five spice pork noodles & vegetables (allergens: egg, gluten, soya, sulphur dioxide)

Vegetarian option

Vegetable five spice noodles (allergens: as main)

Afternoon snack

One whole bun with chicken or cheese and a selection of fruit (allergens: milk, wheat/barley/rye)
